Community. Family. Goin' Where We Wanna Go Since 1954! Our Troop Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 240! We are located in Hillsboro, Oregon just about 15 miles west of the city of Portland, OR. Where: We meet at the United Methodist Church on the corner of 8th and Lincoln in Hillsboro, Oregon. When: Meetings start at 7:00 PM and end around 8:30 PM most Mondays. Merit badges may be taught before some meetings. We are a very active Troop that strongly utilizes the Patrol Method and has equally committed adults to support the scouts in their journey. Our Scout-led, Scout-run Troop is recognized by the community and the District as being well organized and committed to excellence.
